Fund Energy (Ningbo)(formerly known as Heyuan (Ningbo)) MTO commercial plant is the second commercial scale DMTO project. Different from Shenhua (Baotou) DMTO commercial plant, this project locates at southeast coast of China and takes outsourced methanol as raw material. It started up successfully on Jan.28th, 2013., and polymer grade ethylene and propylene were produced on Feb.3rd,2013. The total capacity of EG and PP are 500 KTA and 400 KTA respectively.
The successful start-up of Fund Energy (Ningbo) DMTO plant proved the reliability and advance of DMTO Technology, and also set a good pattern of outsourcing methanol to fine chemicals for the coastal area.
